THE ART OF HUMAN FLIGHT
On May 6, 2026, our flight hall will once again become the stage for an extraordinary event: We are going to celebrate the art of human flight in all its diversity and fascination! Exciting performances in and around the wind tunnel combine this completely free movement in three dimensions with other performing and visual arts. A unique event format in Germany, dedicated solely to the beauty and elegance of this form of expression.
And this is in store for you:
• Flight combined with visual art and live music, presented by Anna Galperin (flight), Aunty Entro (visual art), Magdalena Adlberger (cello), and Andrés Marino (piano)
• Sabrina Schoenmaker, an indoor para-skydiver from the Netherlands, who discovered the freedom of movement through flying
• Mateus Knelsen & Paloma Oliveira – free software developers and creative minds at the intersection of art and technology – with an interactive documentary performance about women in the history of flight
• Flytopia (Timmy Dittrich & Christian Kaufmann): the successful Berlin-based Dynamic 2-way team – European vice-champions and World Cup bronze medalists – presents its winning choreography and shares the story of the creative process and its journey as a team
• Ghost Busters (John and Emilia): the father-daughter duo will present two solo performances as well as a joint performance in which elements of solo freestyle merge into a dynamic two-way choreography
• Ryan “Skynique” combines his musical talent with his unique flying style, taking us on a mysterious journey to explore the soul and the art of flight
• Fashion through the prism of flight composes the grand finale of the evening – the wind tunnel transforms into a catwalk. Berlin fashionistas Michelle Kilian and Heide Pennigsdorf take care of styling and design, fashion show by fly models Iggy, Luki, Lisa, Sebastian, Kat, and Anna
