Eight editions of the Open Championship of the Czech Republic in indoor skydiving, shortly Czech Open, have been held in Hurricane Factory Prague so far.
Eight editions of the Open Championship of the Czech Republic in indoor skydiving, shortly Czech Open, have been held in Hurricane Factory Prague so far.
In last years, the event has been attended by around a hundred competitors and dozens of teams, not only from the Czech Republic, but also from neighboring Poland, Austria, Hungary, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Spain, Sweden and even Singapore and Australia.
Competition disciplines:
- Formation Skydiving 4-Way
- Vertical Formation Skydiving 4-Way
- 2-Way Dynamic
- 4-Way Dynamic
- Freestyle
UNOFFICIAL DISCIPLINES HAVE ALSO BEEN ADDED IN RECENT ANNUAL COMPETITIONS, FOR EXAMPLE:
- Handifly Race – for handicaped competitors
- Solo Speed Race Beginners – for beginning fliers
- Solo Speed – for experienced fliers
For Czech competitors, the Czech Open is a qualification for the World Championship or the European Championship & the World Cup.
Next World Championship & the European Championship will be held in April 2024 in China (wcis2024.goairborne.com).

Registration fees:
- FS4 (R, A, AA, AAA) – 7 000 CZK/team
- VFS – 9 000 CZK/team
- Solo Freestyle Open – 5 000 CZK/competitor
- Solo Freestyle Junior – 5 000 CZK/competitor
- D2W – 7 000 CZK/team
- D4W – 9 000 CZK/team
- Solo Speed – 2 300 CZK/team
- Handifly Race – 2 000 CZK/team
Competitors need valid FAI licence for this competition (only official disciplines – FS4, VFS, Solo Freestyle, D2W, D4W). If you need our help with this, don’t hesitate to contact us.
