The HandiFly RACE has been held internationally since 2022 in 2024 for the first time as an official discipline of the German Indoor Skydiving Championships at the Hurricane Factory Berlin.<\/p>

Athletes with disabilities compete against each other in the HandiFly RACE. The aim of this discipline is to fly a course in the wind tunnel as quickly as possible. A coefficient to compensate for the various degrees of disability is determined in advance based on the degree of impairment, which together with the performance shown leads to a comparable total score.
